The purpose of the Center for Development Cooperation is:
- Collect and archive the information on who, what, where, how and why plans to implement projects on development aid
- Establish a website and on-line database that will in a user-friendly manner enable access to information in this area - about programs, organizations, individuals, documents and relevant skills required for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development aid programs
- In parallel with this begin with activities to manage the library with literature and other written sources in the field of development cooperation and assistance
The project will provide a relevant, useful and stable system for observation, monitoring and analysis of projects or development aid programs implemented by the Slovenian non-governmental organizations and individuals.
It will also enable the interested public access to documents, practices and organizations and networks, operating in the field of development cooperation, either as executors, policy makers or researchers, both on national and international level.
